The Castlegar Community Connections event took place at the Castlegar and District Community Complex on Nov. 13. The purpose of the event was to bring people and service providers together. Free was the word of the day as visitors were offered everything from a free meal and live entertainment to free winter wear and haircuts.The event was coordinated by Castlegar Community Services.
