Please join us in welcoming Castlegar’s new RCMP Victim Services Coordinator,
Christine Van Dyke! Christine takes over this position from Leanna Kozak, who continues her work supporting our community in other programs.

“The RCMP Victim Service role is an extremely rewarding one for me,” says Christine about starting her new role. “I am able to use my skills to assist the RCMP when people can be quite vulnerable and to support individuals impacted by crime, immediately and afterwards, such as through the court process”.

Having previously worked as the RCMP Victim Services Coordinator in Fort Nelson, BC, Christine’s new job here in Castlegar is a perfect fit. She comes to this position with a wealth of knowledge and experience from leadership roles in a variety of community programs such as the Crisis Line, the Boys & Girls Club, and the Domestic Violence Court Case pilot project in Whitecourt, AB. Christine has a BA in Psychology and Masters in Counseling Psychology.
